For your next vacation, why not consider visiting Chengdu? Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan province and is one of the liveliest cities in China. Though it was suffered from the earthquake last year, it is still beautiful.

It has many fantastic sights, including Wuhou Temple, Qingcheng Mountain which is being rebuilt now and the panda park where the endangered pandas are taken good care. At first, I had no idea where I would go. My friend’s students advised me to go to Wuhou Temple to have a look. I have to be honest to say this is a choice. Because I like the places that are historical and educational.

Traveling in Chengdu by taxi can cost a lot of money, but it’s convenient to take the bus to most places, so in order to save money, I took the No. 17 bus to Wuhou Temple. Unfortunately, there is no underground train. I heard that it would be built in a year.

 I especially enjoy the Chengdu snacks, such as Dumpling Zhong, Mapodofu and Dandan mian. They are both cheap and delicious. Most people here are warm-hearted and they speak special dialect, it sounds nice but it’s a pity that I can’t understand it.

 In general, Chengdu is a relaxing city. There are many things to do and see there. I decided to spend another two days enjoying the wonderful life here.
